Related Product Information for
anti-CD88 antibody
Mouse anti Human CD88 antibody, clone P12/1 recognizes the C5a receptor (C5aR) also known as CD88 or C5a anaphylatoxin chemotactic receptor 1. CD88 is predominantly expressed on cells of the myeloid lineage.
Mouse anti Human CD88 antibody, clone P12/1 does not inhibit the binding of C5a to its receptor.
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-CD88 antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
Testing Data of anti-CD88 antibody
Figure A. Alexa Fluor647 conjugated mouse anti human CD16 and RPE conjugated mouse IgG2a isotype control . Figure B. Alexa Fluor647 conjugated mouse anti human CD16 and RPE conjugated mouse anti human CD88 . All experiments performed on red cell lysed human blood gated on granulocytes in the presence of Human Seroblock (BUF070A). Data acquired on the ZE5 cell analyzer.

Testing Data of anti-CD88 antibody
FFPE human spleen stained with Mouse Anti-Human CD88 , biotinylated Anti-Mouse IgG and Streptavidin Alkaline Phosphatase (red). Nuclei were counterstained with hematoxylin.

C5aR: a family 1 G-protein coupled receptor that stimulates the GTPase activity of Gi2. Receptor for the chemotactic and inflammatory complement factor C5a. Stimulates chemotaxis, granule enzyme release and superoxide anion production. Phosphorylated in response to C5a or after stimulation of cells with phorbol esters. Expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells, astrocytes and microglia.

1. Furthermore, Apigenin reduced the proliferation of human NPC cells triggered by C5a through negative regulation of C5aR/PCAF/STAT3 axis. These might provide a new insight into the function of Apigenin in cancer treatment, and also provide a potential strategy for treating human NPC through inhibition of C5aR expression on cancer cells
