The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9427512 kit is based on Cd22 antibody-Cd22 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Cd22 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, Cd22. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Upon ligand induced tyrosine phosphorylation in the immune response seems to be involved in regulation of B-cell antigen receptor signaling. Plays a role in positive regulation through interaction with Src family tyrosine kinases and may also act as an inhibitory receptor by recruiting cytoplasmic phosphatases via their SH2 domains that block signal transduction through dephosphorylation of signaling molecules. Belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. SIGLEC (sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin) family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
