The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing CRISP3. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS905052 kit is based on CRISP3 antibody-CRISP3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CRISP3 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, CRISP3. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with CRISP3. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for CRISP3. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated CRISP3 and CRISP3 in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of CRISP3 in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
