Product Note
Select online data sheet information is drawn from bioinformatics databases, occasionally resulting in ambiguous or non-relevant product information. It is the responsibility of the customer to review, verify, and evaluate the information to make sure it matches their requirements before purchasing the kit. Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes
Small volumes of ACTR3 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS167930 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Actin-related protein 3 (ACTR3) ELISA Kit target analytes in
biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing ACTR3. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS167930 kit is based on ACTR3 antibody-ACTR3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ACTR3 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ACTR3. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

ACTR3 elisa kit
Intended Uses: This sandwich kit is for the accurate quantitative detection of human Actin-related Protein 3 (also known as ACTR3) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates.
Principles of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with human ACTR3 antibody. ACTR3 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human ACTR3
Antibody is added and binds to ACTR3 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ACTR3 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of human ACTR3. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

UniProt Comments for ACTR3
Functions as ATP-binding component of the Arp2/3 complex which is involved in regulation of actin polymerization and together with an activating nucleation-promoting factor (NPF) mediates the formation of branched actin networks. Seems to contact the pointed end of the daughter actin filament ().
Research Articles on ACTR3
1. The Arp2/3 complex contributes to the formation of axon collateral branches in vivo and in vitro from precursor cytoskeletal structures, when actin patches form along sensory axons and give rise to filopodia in situ.
