The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS7232981 kit is based on RPS23 antibody-RPS23 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect RPS23 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, RPS23. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit. The protein belongs to the S12P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. The protein shares significant amino acid similarity with S. cerevisiae ribosomal protein S28.
