The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS7202865 kit is based on DUOX2 antibody-DUOX2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect DUOX2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, DUOX2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Plays a role in thyroid hormones synthesis and lactoperoxidase-mediated antimicrobial defense at the surface of mucosa. May have its own peroxidase activity through its N-terminal peroxidase-like domain.
