This IGFALS antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 308-335 amino acids from the Central region of human IGFALS.

Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Pab)

Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Vial Concentration: 2 (lot specific)

Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 degree C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 degree C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Small volumes of anti-IGFALS antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

IGFALS is a serum protein that binds insulin-like growth factors, increasing their half-life and their vascular localization. Production of the protein, which contains twenty leucine-rich repeats, is stimulated by growth hormone. Defects in this protein are a cause of acid-labile subunit deficiency, which maifests itself in a delayed and slow puberty.

Western blot analysis of IGFALS Antibody (Center) in mouse spleen tissue, Jurkat cell line and mouse liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane). IGFALS (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma reacted with IGFALS Antibody (Center), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
