3D Structure
ModBase 3D Structure for P12318
Purity/Purification
> 98 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form/Format
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4, 5 % trehalose, 5 % mannitol, 0.01%Tween80.
Protein Construction
A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Met 210) of human CD32a (P12318-1) was fused with a c-terminal polyhistidine tagged AVI tag at the C-terminus. It is identical to FCGR2A131H/R in the reference.
Bio Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human CD32a-AVI(167 Arg/His) at 10?g/ml(100?l/well) can bind biotinylated human IgG1, The EC50 of biotinylated human IgG1 is 0.13-0.29ug/ml.
Predicted N terminal
Gln 34
Molecular Mass
The recombinant human CD32a consists of 213 amino acids after removal of the signal peptide and predicts a molecular mass of 23.6 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 32 KDa band due to glycosylation by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin
< 1.0 EU per ug of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Reconstitution
It is recommended that sterile water (200ul) be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.25mg/mL.
Concentration is measured by UV-Vis.
Preparation and Storage
Storage: Store it under sterile conditions at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Stability: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70 degree C.
ISO Certification
Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Laboratory.
Other Notes
Small volumes of CD32a / FCGR2A recombinant protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for CD32a / FCGR2A
This gene encodes one member of a family of immunoglobulin Fc receptor genes found on the surface of many immune response cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface receptor found on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, and is involved in the process of phagocytosis and clearing of immune complexes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2008]
