Product Note
Select online data sheet information is drawn from bioinformatics databases, occasionally resulting in ambiguous or non-relevant product information. It is the responsibility of the customer to review, verify, and evaluate the information to make sure it matches their requirements before purchasing the kit. Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes
Small volumes of PLXNA3 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS9338481 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the plexin A3 (PLXNA3) ELISA Kit target analytes in
biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing PLXNA3. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9338481 kit is based on PLXNA3 antibody-PLXNA3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect PLXNA3 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, PLXNA3. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

UniProt Comments for PLXNA3
PLXNA3: Coreceptor for SEMA3A and SEMA3F. Necessary for signaling by class 3 semaphorins and subsequent remodeling of the cytoskeleton. Plays a role in axon guidance in the developing nervous system. Regulates the migration of sympathetic neurons, but not of neural crest precursors. Required for normal dendrite spine morphology in pyramidal neurons. May play a role in regulating semaphorin-mediated programmed cell death in the developing nervous system. Class 3 semaphorins bind to a complex composed of a neuropilin and a plexin. The plexin modulates the affinity of the complex for specific semaphorins, and its cytoplasmic domain is required for the activation of down-stream signaling events in the cytoplasm. Interacts with CBFA2T3/MTG16. Belongs to the plexin family.
Protein type: Membrane protein, integral
Cellular Component: membrane; integral to membrane; plasma membrane; intracellular
Molecular Function: semaphorin receptor activity; receptor activity
Biological Process: trigeminal nerve structural organization; facial nerve structural organization; axon guidance; branchiomotor neuron axon guidance; multicellular organismal development; hippocampus development; negative chemotaxis; pyramidal neuron development; positive regulation of cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis; signal transduction; negative regulation of axon extension involved in axon guidance
Research Articles on PLXNA3
1. genetic findings demonstrate that Sema3a repellent signaling plays a role in the establishment of proper afferent projections in SAG neurons, and this signaling likely occurs through a receptor complex involving Npn1 and either plexinA1 or plexinA3
