The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9348842 kit is based on ATP1B2 antibody-ATP1B2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ATP1B2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ATP1B2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. This is the non-catalytic component of the active enzyme, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of Na+ and K+ ions across the plasma membrane. The beta subunit regulates, through assembly of alpha/beta heterodimers, the number of sodium pumps transported to the plasma membrane.
