Introduction
TREX2 holds a 3-prime-to-5-prime exonuclease activity and eliminates mismatched, modified, fragmented, and normal nucleotides to produce the appropriate 3-prime termini for following steps in the DNA metabolic pathways. TREX2 has a role in DNA replication, repair, and recombination.
Description
TREX2 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 256 amino acids (1-236a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 28.0 kDa.
TREX2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
The TREX2 protein solution (1mg/1ml) is formulated in 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 200mM NaCl, 5mM DTT and 30% glycerol.

Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
