| Description |
Primary human fallopian epithelial cells (OE) were isolated from women in her follicular phase of the menstrual cycle. Immortalization was preformed through infection with retrovirus carrying the HPV E6/E7 gene to establish the Immortalized Human Oviductal Cells (OE-E6/E7). OE-E6/E7 cells maintain the epithelial phenotype and expresses ERα and ERβ receptors. It can be used to purify and characterize embryotrophic factors secreted for further discovery in embryo development in vitro. |

| Propagation |
Use of PriCoat™ T25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) is required for cell adhesion to the culture vessels. Grow cells in ECM-coated culture vessels with the following conditions. The base medium for this cell line is Prigrow IV medium available from ABM (TM004). To make the completed growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum (TM999) to final concentration of 10% and 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin (G255). Atmosphere: air: 95%, CO₂: 5%; Temperature: 37.0°C.
Recommended split ratio is 1:3.
