TTC11, Tetratricopeptide repeat domain 11, Fission 1 (mitochondrial outer membrane) homolog (S. cerevisiae).
Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal.
FIS1 is part of the mitochondrial complex that promotes mitochondrial fission. FIS1 induces cytochrome C discharge from the mitochondrion to the cytosol, eventually leading to apoptosis. FIS1 participates in peroxisomal growth and division. The C terminus is required for mitochondrial localisation, while the N teminus is necessary for mitochondrial fission.
Anti-human FIS1 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human FIS1 protein 1-122 amino acids purified from E. coli.
Mouse IgG1 heavy chain and k light chain.
FIS1 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.
FIS1 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.
