Type
Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal.
Introduction
CYR61 is a growth factor-inducible, immediate-early gene that has multifaceted activities in various cancers. CYR61 is a secreted, cysteine-rich, heparin-binding protein which is encoded by a growth factor-inducible immediate-early gene. Acting as an extracellular, matrix-associated signaling molecule, CYR61 promotes the adhesion of endothelial cells through interaction with integrin and enhances growth factor-induced DNA synthesis in the same cell type.
Clone
P3H3AT.
Immunogen
Anti-human CYR61 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human CYR61 amino acids 168-242 purified from E. coli.
Ig Subclass
Mouse IgG1 heavy chain and κ light chain.
Purification Method
CYR61 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.

Applications
CYR61 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot is 1:250~1:1,000 and immunohistochemistry analysis is 1:50~100. Recommended starting dilution for Western blot is 1:250 and Immunohistochemistry is 1:50.
