Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-Ice antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
anti-Ice antibody
Caspases are a family of cytosolic aspartate-specific cysteine proteases involved in the initiation and execution of apoptosis. Caspase-6 is a major apoptotic executioner (1,2). It exists as a pro-domain protein and is cleaved by caspase-3 into two active subunits, an 18kD and a 10kD subunit (3). Caspase-6 cleaves among many different intracellular proteins, nuclear lamins. Lamins play a significant role in maintaining the integrity of the cell membrane, and their cleavage results in subsequent cellular breakdown and death (4).
